Common Questions
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Open PaintSnap, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This will restore your Pro unlock using your Apple ID. You will not be charged again.
Does the app require an internet connection?
No. PaintSnap works entirely offline. You can create jobs, take photos, build quotes, and export PDFs without any internet connection. The only network activity is the optional Pro purchase through Apple's App Store.
Where is my data stored?
All of your data — jobs, photos, and quotes — is stored locally on your device. It is included in your standard iCloud device backups if you have those enabled. The app does not sync data to any external server.
Do I need to create an account or log in?
No. PaintSnap has no accounts, no login, and no sign-up. Just open the app and start using it.
What does PaintSnap Pro unlock?
PaintSnap Pro is a one-time purchase that lets you add your own business name and branding to exported PDF reports. The free version includes full app functionality with standard PaintSnap branding on reports.
